Boys 2011/2012 (U10) SCHEDULE
We are delighted to be kicking off the Spring Season on Saturday April 17th. The Season will run until Saturday June 5th. The Games will be played at
Juaneno Park . Match Duration: 50 minutes; two 25 minutes halves, 10 minute break between halves; a short water break/substitution break at approximately 12.5 minutes (referee to stop match at throw-in or other dead ball) – the clock continues to run during the break.
Referee: LNYSA certified center referee only. A volunteer and/or knowledgeable parent (or another referee) can assist as an Assistant Referee. The game will not proceed without a certified center referee.
Penalties/Fouls/Offside: FIFA Law of the Game, including handling the ball and offside. At the start of the season, referees will be lenient on certain areas, including throw-ins and offside and will instruct players on the law of the game. However, during playoffs, referees will make all applicable calls.
Recreational Coaches and Volunteers will be present on the field to assist with the general flow of the game. Emphasis will be on implementing soccer skills learned in Skills Clinics with assistance of recreational coaches.
Things to Know about the weekly sessions:
(1) . Players should then join their coaches on one of the small-fields (marked out by cones on the main field) .
(2) We ask that only Coaches and players meet on the field and that parents line up along the outside of the field in a socially distanced way (6 feet apart)
(3) Parents please follow all of the session guidelines so you are aware of the on field protocols to be followed during the mini-kicker training sessions.
