⚽ Program Details by Age Group
👶 Mini-Kickers (2021–2022)
A fun and gentle introduction to soccer! Sessions begin Saturday, September 6 at Bear Brand Park. Each of the 8 weekly Saturday sessions lasts 60 minutes and includes games, water breaks, and a scrimmage. Weekly skill patches are awarded to encourage participation and learning.
- Soccer Format: Academy-style, non-competitive format
- Saturday Session Length: 60 minutes
- Includes: Capelli Sport uniform (jersey, shorts, socks)
- Bring: Size 3 soccer ball + water
🟠 U6 (2020) & U7 (2019)
Players are assigned to set teams and play 4v4 or 5v5 games without goalkeepers. Each Saturday session includes a brief team practice followed by a game. In addition to game days, players attend weekly Skills Clinics for 7 weeks to help build individual technique and confidence.
- Soccer Format: Teams 4v4 or 5v5
- Saturday Session: 30-minute practice + 40-minute game
- Midweek Skills Clinics: Tuesdays at 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM
- Includes: Capelli Sport uniform
- Bring: Size 3 soccer ball + water
⚽ U8 (2018) – Champions’ League
Our U8 “Champions’ League” division offers an exciting next step in development. Players compete in 5v5 or 6v6 games with goalkeepers, structured into four 10-minute quarters. Weekly Skills Clinics focus on improving technique, awareness, and confidence.
- Soccer Format: Teams 5v5 or 6v6
- Saturday Session: Practice + 40-minute game (four 10-minute quarters)
- Midweek Skills Clinics: Wednesdays at 4:00 PM & 5:00 PM
- Midweek Practice: Optional
- Includes: Capelli Sport uniform

💪 U9–U10 (2017–2016)
Players develop in a structured, referee-managed game environment. Games are played in a 7v7 or 8v8 format with two 25-minute halves. Balanced teams are formed through a player draft. Each week includes a Saturday game, an optional weekday team practice, and Thursday Skills Clinics focused on advancing player skills.
- Soccer Format: Teams 7v7 or 8v8
- Roster Size: 9–10 players
- Saturday Session: 50-minute game
- Midweek Skills Clinics: Thursdays at 4:00 PM & 5:00 PM
- Midweek Practice: Optional

⚡ U11 (2015–2016)
The U11 program steps up competition with 7v7 or 8v8 referee-officiated matches played in two 30-minute halves. Teams are balanced through a draft, and rosters include 9 to 10 players. Players participate in weekly games, coach-led practices, and Skills Clinics that emphasize technical and tactical development.

Select Soccer offers a competitive, player-focused program with elevated coaching and extended gameplay—all while maintaining a flexible, family-friendly schedule. Ideal for motivated players who want to develop further without the full-time commitment of club soccer.
- Soccer Format: Teams 7v7 or 8v8
- Cost: Starting at $250+ (varies by team and tournament participation)
- Tryouts: Held annually from January through March
- Uniform: Separate uniform purchase required
- Schedule: Extended season with practices & weekend games/tournaments
- Eligibility: Open to players through evaluation or tryout

The program includes multiple competitive tiers, from local leagues to elite development platforms like Galaxy Next Level, State Cup, and interstate tournaments.
