LNYSA is celebrating its 10th season with a special season for ALL AGE DIVISIONS!

Available Programs for 2017:


Mini-Kickers – LNYSA Mini-Kickers is for players, ages 3 to 5. This introductory program is focused on friendships and fun. Games are played on Saturdays; there are no mid-week practices. It’s where the young ones start! Parents may expect to be notified during late August regarding uniform info.

Recreational – LNYSA Recreational soccer is for ages 6 through 19. Designed to develop skills, build confidence, teamwork, self-esteem, and leadership. All games are played in Laguna Niguel. Practices begin in August. Uniforms are distributed prior to the first game in September.

Signature League Association – LNYSA Signature League is for players, ages 9 through 14, with advanced skills. Tryouts, completed during May, are required for this elite level program. Signature teams play other Cal South elite level teams during the Fall and Spring seasons. Practices begin in July.Signature Logo

TOPSoccer – The Outreach Program for Soccer, TOPSoccer, is a community-based soccer program for young athletes with physical and mental disabilities that provides a safe and fun environment for their child to participate in organized sports. These athletes compete with others of similar abilities.

LNYSA is supported by the California Youth Soccer Association – South (Cal South). Cal South manages the Southern California region for the United States Youth Soccer Association. US Youth Soccer is the largest youth soccer group in North America supporting more than three million youth soccer players.

Fees for Fall 2017

*Players selected for Signature Teams will pay an additional Signature Fee

The Fall 2017 Recreational Season will consist of practices, beginning in August, and games held on Saturdays, beginning September 9th. The U9 – U14 Divisional finals will be played under the lights during November. For teams in U5 through U8 Divisions, a series of short games will be played followed by a Fall Festival at Chapparosa Park.

Important Dates:

  • June and July 2017 – Parent Feedback forms sent by email; check your email and tell us about your player.
  • July 29, 2017 – Registration Deadline – Players must be registered by this date for a guaranteed spot. Registration fees increase on this date.
  • July 26, 2017 – Mandatory meeting for all recreational coaches
  • August 21 – U8 through U19 teams begin practice this week; players should be contacted by coaches by this date. If you have not heard from a coach, please contact the Division Director for your child’s age group.
  • Saturday, September 09 – First day of the season for all Recreational groups
  • Saturday, September 09 – First day of competition for Signature teams
  • Sunday, September 24  – Photo Day (Moulton Elementary)
  • Saturday, November 11 – Fall Festival for U5 – U8 Divisions
  • November 13-16 – U9 – U14 Recreational Divisions Playoffs and Finals

Check the Age Division Calculator to determine in which Division your child will play. Important: all players should have shoes (soccer shoes or athletic shoes), shin guards, and a ball appropriate to their age group (see below).
