Dear parents, coaches and referees:

The regular season will start on Saturday, Sept. 12, and run until either Nov. 8 or 14 dependent upon the division.

Schedules are posted. You can view your schedule by clicking Calendar/Schedule - Fall Game Schedule above or go Local Youth Recreational Schedule, Signature Schedule or the U16/U19 Schedule.

For the Local Recreational Game Schedule, we will follow the outline highlighted in the calendar below.  Each team will play at least 10 games.  The first six or seven games being non-standing games; the later games played as play-off games. Note: the non-standing games appear on the schedule (through October 17) - playoff games will be posted in early October.

We will use the standard 10 point scoring system to determine the top four teams in each division that will qualify for their division championships. The championship games for the U9-U14 Divisions will be held on Nov. 14 and continue through the next week concluding on Nov. 19. Please be aware that some teams in the U9-U14 divisions will have a double header weekend playing games on both Nov. 7 and 8 during the play-off part of the season.

Due to field changes, changing regional schedules and/or head coach conflicts please expect to see a few modifications to the schedule prior to the start of the season.  Please ask your team managers to check the schedule regularly for any changes.  Our aim is to keep these changes to a minimum but please be patient if we have to adjust the schedule.

For the teams continuing on to the Cal South Commissioner's Cup and All-star competition please make note of the following dates:

Cal South Commission's Cup  -  December 12/13
Cal South all-stars competition   - 2nd weekend in January 2010

More information will be available in Nov. from the LNYSA directors for these competitions.
