LNYSA has had since its inception a Coaches Game that is played once a week. It has become very popular and the coaches that participate have benefitted in many ways including increased knowledge of the game, learning new skills and, of course, lasting friendships through the shared passion for soccer. Due to the overwhelming success of the Tuesaday Coaches game , LNYSA now offers a variety of mentored pick up games for Coaches, Referees and active volunteers. All participants in these games must complete an LNYSA Player Activity Waiver and ensure it is given to the LNYSA coordinator at the field.
- Tuesday Coaches Game - Players meet at 8PM each Tuesday at CVL for a friendly game to help hone their skills and develop a better understanding of the game. The game has been running for some time so the level of play reflects this fact. Join the email list below, if you wish to be included in emails regarding the Tuesday Night Coaches Game.
- The 2nd volunteer Game each week - A "New" game introduced for those coaches and volunteers that are new to soccer or returning to the game and wanting to increase their effectiveness.
