New Referee Training (6:00PM)
The ref class is only 3 hours long (not 8 hours)!!!
In the class, you will learn how to become an Assistant Referee - a ref on the sidelines helping the Center Referee. A few of you would like to quickly become Center Referees - we will mentor you and work with you to get this done quickly.
We would love for you to come get certified as a referee in ONE of the two 3-hour classes:
- August 29 (Sun): 2-5 pm at the Crown Valley Community Center (CVCC) - Patio Room
or
- September 1 (Wed): 6-9 pm at the CVCC - Patio Room

LIVE SCAN For Coaches And Refs (6:00PM)
REQUIRED FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS - COACHES, ASSISTANT COACHES, REFEREES, TEAM MANAGERS. THIS PROCESS ONLY TAKES ABOUT 15 MINUTES. PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE NO EARLIER THAN 6, BUT BEFORE 8PM
Crown Valley Community Center, near the pool entrance. Please bring a valid drivers license or passport.
If you have had a Live Scan background check with LNYSA or CAL South, you do NOT have to attend. If you have done Livescan with any other other organizations (school district, etc.), those background checks are NOT valid due to Dept of Justice regulations. We CANNOT transfer a school or work related background check to the Cal South database

Mandatory Returning Referee Meeting (6:30PM)
Returning Refs Meetings - set for Sept 2 from 6:30-9 pm at Crown Valley Community Center
and Sept 7 from 6:30-9 pm at the Sea Country Center.
All refs in LNYSA need to attend ONE of these two meetings to get updates. This class is considered a refresher and will have breakout sessions after the first one hour of instruction. Sandwiches will be served.
